On Tuesday, March 6, the Community Development Department (CDD), Workforce Investment Board (WIB), and the Los Angeles Public Library (LPL) launched a pilot project at the Central Library downtown. The project, a brainchild of WIB Executive Director Greg Irish, is to establish collaboration between the LAPL and WorkSource Centers to bring the resources of both to bear on the problem of helping job seekers find work in this economy.
