Each year, WorkSource Centers help over 170,000 people like you find jobs. Last year alone, more than 1,400 Los Angeles-based businesses chose to list employment openings with us so that they could hire employees like you. Thus far, we've helped post job openings in a diverse area of fields, from manufacturing and industry to childcare, healthcare, and international trade.
We act as your personal employment agency, collecting listings of job openings across the LA area and providing them to you based on your abilities and needs. We’ll even help write your resume! There are 16 WorkSource Centers and 3 portal offices situated in convenient locations across the city. Worried about how you'll get to a center? We can help! Bus passes and childcare are available to those who qualify under federal economic guidelines.
If you’ve been laid off from work due to downsizing or economic changes in your employer’s sector, you are probably eligible for free training opportunities.
