Interested in a summer job? Want to prepare for your future?

If you are between the ages of 14 and 21, a resident of the city of Los Angeles, and income eligible, you can apply to receive career and job services!

Some of the career services that youth centers (also called OneSource Centers, Youth Opportunity Systems, or Youth Opportunity Movements) provide include:

  • Work readiness: We’ll prepare you to get a job in the real world.
  • Career exploration: Find out what kind of job you want. You can get your dream job!
  • Job skills training: Get the tools you need to get that first job.
  • Tutoring & computer training: Learn how to write a resume. Find out how the right cover letter can land you the position of your dreams.
  • College preparation: Is college right for you? Find out what schools are out there and what a degree can do for your future.
  • Mentoring & counseling: Find someone you can really talk to. Learn from our experienced staff what next steps you should take to prepare for tomorrow.
     

Although many of our youth centers have different names, you can visit any youth center to receive all of the services listed above.

So, are you ready to take the next step in preparing for your future?

To get started, you must meet the following requirements:

  •    14-21 years of age
  •    Resident of the City of Los Angeles
  •    Income eligible

Your commitment to us: We ask that you actively participate in our programs for a minimum of one year. Our trained and experienced staff will help you discover what you need to get you on the track to employment.

The best part? All of our programs and services are completely FREE.
