Dr. Llanet Martin has more than ten years of experience in academia as a Graduate Fellow, Mentor, Residential Advisor, Researcher, Admissions Officer, and Instructor. She includes among her many accomplishments and skill sets developing and implementing curricula, securing funding for special programming, assisting minority and parenting students in preparing for graduate school, and evaluating and synthesizing data to publish scholarly reports that inform education decision-makers.

In her current capacity as Student Success and Support Services Coordinator with the Los Angeles Community College District, Dr. Martin oversees several initiatives to ensure that students successfully complete their community college studies. Dr. Martin is a member of the Advance Democratic Club, Executive Latino Leadership Association, and UCLA Latino Alumni Association.
