David Ford
David Ford is a seasoned public affairs and public relations professional with over 20 years of experience managing relationships with policymakers, including the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and leaders across all levels of government. He currently serves as Government Relations Manager at Southern California Edison (SCE), developing strategic initiatives to promote a clean energy future and managing key government and community partnerships.
Mr. Ford has been recognized with numerous industry and civic awards, including the Energy Central Voice of 2022 Award, the Impact Makers Award from Stratiscope, and Edison International’s Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Performance. He is credited with co-founding SCE’s Black History Month Program and has been consistently tapped as a strategic advisor and consensus builder on enterprise-wide initiatives.
Mr. Ford currently serves on several philanthropic and strategic boards, including the LA Philharmonic, the American Association of Blacks in Energy, and the Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce Educational Foundation.
