Victor Reyes

Victor Reyes currently serves several multi-faceted roles, including Senior Business Representative for I.A.T.S.E. Local 44, Adjunct Lecturer at CSU Dominguez Hills in the Labor Studies Department, and Instructor at Los Angeles Trade Technical College in the Design & Media Arts - Film Production Pathway.

As a Union Representative, Mr. Reyes advocates for Local 44 members by upholding collective bargaining agreements and labor contracts, ensuring safe and equitable workplace conditions, and fostering industry partnerships that support hands-on training programs. As a College instructor, he shares his extensive on-set film and television experience to help students navigate professional situations and industry requirements.

Mr. Reyes is deeply committed to expanding educational and career pathways for underserved communities. He holds leadership roles with several organizations, including Los Angeles Trade Technical College Foundation as Board Co-Chair and Construction Management and Utilities Advisory Committee, Hollywood Cinema Production Resources (Hollywood CPR) as an IATSE Advisory Committee member, Santa Clarita - College of the Canyons as Career Education Advisory Board member, and Los Angeles County Federation of Labor - Committee on Political Education delegate for IATSE Local 44.

Mr. Reyes holds a Master's degree in Public Administration - Public Sector Employer-Employee Relations and Personnel Management from California State University, Long Beach, and a dual Bachelor's degree in Labor Studies and Public Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and is a proud graduate of the Carpentry and Cabinet Making program at Los Angeles Trade Technical College.
